Can I use my parol outside?
Our parols are not water proof and have electrical components that can be damaged by water. The parols do come with a plastic covering but this does not completely seal the parol. Because of this we recommend the parol to be used indoors - although many of our customers use their parol on their front porch and have no problems. You are welcome to remove the plastic if you want to keep your parol inside but please know the plastic offers extra protection.
What if my parol is damaged in shipping?
First we make sure that we pack the Parols the best we can, but in the event of accidental damage, we request you to contact us, as soon as possible (within 7 days of delivery). Please keep all packaging materials so the parol can be returned safely. We will first request photos of damages and the packing materials, then provide return label at our expense. We purchase insurance through a 3rd party for all of our parols so please be patient while we assist you - we are here to help! Need not to worry we will replace your Parol or will refund you if it no longer available.

I've been buying on Etsy since 2010 and this is my first disappointing purchase. The item arrived broken and seller has been unhelpful. The quality isn't what you would expect for an item that's $125. It's 100% made of plastic. The seller's shipping method was incompetent. The item was boxed without protection like tissue paper/bubble wrap that retailers typically use to ensure packages arrive safely. There were no instructions or notes that other sellers generally include with their items. When I messaged the seller, she mentioned that the "bulb can come loose in shipping" and the only resolution is for me to "to peel back carefully a corner of the plastic center part...to access the bulb. Then you can use a glue stick." I don't think that's a sufficient response. I'm not buying something for $125 that I then need to fix.
